Scivu

The wonderful beach of Scivu is another gem on the coast of Arbus. It can be reached through a road snaking among hills and valleys, immersed in the scents of the Mediterranean maquis and finally going down towards the sea.

A ravishing scenery opens before visitor’s eyes, announced by an intense fragrance of sea and aromatic plants and culminating in the vision of a stunning stretch of finest sand. A muffled sound is produced when one treads on it, as if the sand could ‘speak’. The beach is backed by a sandy wall, dominated by high, rocky mountain headlands on the background, wrought by the mistral wind.
