In the locality of Molinu, at the entrance of the village of Turri, about 200 century-old olive trees are gathered in two hectares of land. What makes this olive grove special is that each plant has got a different owner, who marks his/her own tree with the initials of his/her name every year. Such tradition dates back to the age of Pisan domination, when the property of a single tree was granted to those citizens willing to graft a plant and care for it. The tradition is still alive today, as no misappropriation can occur in this way. The wonderful exemplars are of a remarkable size, their trunks reaching a circumference of 3 - 5 metres.
