Pauli Arbarei, Nuraghi

Nuraghe Bruncu Mannu

The territory of Pauli Arbarei is scattered with Nuragic sites. A good ten nuraghi have been censused, of which nine single-towered and one trilobate, the nuraghe Bruncu Mannu. As a whole, the Nuragic complex dates back to the age of Recent Bronze, 13th-12th C. B.C.; it stands out upon a hill at 203 m. a.s.l., overlooking the plain below, as a real watch point over the access ways to the highlands of Gesturi and Siddi.
