Villacidro, archaeological museum ‘Villa Leni’

The Archaeological Museum, opened in 2003, is hosted inside a building formerly hosting a cereal bank, dating from the second half of the 18^th century. It guards a number of finds confirming the intense frequentation of Villacidro territory and neighbouring municipalities. Also from the same area are various finds dating back to a wide time span, from Recent Neolithic to the Phoenician/Punic domination, until the following Roman age.
