Villanovaforru, archaeological restoration laboratory

Since several years, the ground floor of the state school of the village have been hosting the technical laboratories of the Archaeological Civic Museum. containing all the materials and finds from the archaeological excavations of the territory of the Consortium ‘Sa Corona Arrubia’.The laboratory consists of various spaces: a reception hall, illustrating the activities prior to the excavations, along with related techniques and post-excavation activities; a library, an archive, in addition to photography, graphics, ceramics restoration and osteological laboratories, all provided with innovative equipment and instruments apt to study the archaeological finds recovered in villages and necropolises of pre-historical and historical ages. Visits illustrate technical activities while accompanying visitors throughout the different sections.
