The passion for the two wheels is deep-rooted in the territory of Middle Campidano, as confirmed by the numerous sports events in this field. Amateurish contests, ecological cycling and international competitions alternate every year in the area, especially in Villacidro and Gonnosfanadiga. Indeed, the territory offers a series of routes: itineraries on dirt roads or ancient mule tracks and paths aimed at satisfying any needs, with exciting, breath-taking panoramas, climbing steep mountain roads or easily gliding on the relaxing plains…

Environmental routes are especially evocative along the coastal zones of Arbus and on the Giara plateau.

Lots of amateurish and professional cycling clubs are specialized in cycling tourism in this Province; they can offer a number of helpful services to both tourists and enthusiasts.
