Pabillonis churches

The historical centre of Pabillonis hosts the church of San Giovanni Battista, raised in the 15^th century. The building, of popular architecture, has got a single nave with sail-shaped bell tower. One of the two bells dates from 1594, as confirmed by a still visible Latin inscription on it. Off the village centre, the parish church of Santa Maria della neve was probably built in the 16^th century. The church has got a Latin cross layout, three naves with barrel vault and two side chapels. Later, 4 metres of length were added, as well as two new chapels.
